FROM LIFE: Frate Jacoba House: 10 years of luxury food and good life
"You cannot love man withour loving his home." Born and bred in the densely populated town of Ħamrun, Malta Fr Mark Ciantar realised his dream when in 2007 he moved to the fields of Marsascala in the southern part of Malta, where he joined forces with four others and started an open community based on the principles of sustainable living.
They grow their own food and their house, Frate Jacoba House, is also home to adolescent and young people who are passing through a difficult phase in their life, especially the challenge of homelessness.
